Hey guys, I’m going to repost and edit this which I posted a year ago. I find it very relevant to a lot of people.
“Although there are problems and experiences faced by u guys is something that I have never encountered. But I believe no matter how negative your obstacle seems to be, we should all seek refuge, seek shelter in the Lord. Make the wisest decision!
Some of us might have problems and hurtful things from the past. But I advise you, one shall never look back into the past mistakes and ponder over them - Don’t replay hurtful scene again and again in a “high-definition TV” and “Dolby surround-sound system.” But instead, learn from them. Changes can be very difficult. But if are determine to change, u have to move out of your comfort zone and step out in faith! All u need is the power and grace of God. If you’re willing to let go, or already had and follow Jesus, look into your future as what is planned ahead of u by God will be of prosperity and blessings. Seek your purpose and calling in the kingdom.
I believe strongly that one should be joyful and happy in times of darkness. There's a saying in Chinese: "happy also must live, sad also must live, might as well live it happily!" But for us Christians, there’s the joy of the Lord in us! Don’t become a person who is “emo” and feeling down all the time. That is why you seldom see me “emo”. Lol. Seek God, for He is my best friend and share all my secrets with Him.
Decision making is one thing that people struggle against. Everytime I had to make a decision, I always seek of the Lord in quiet time. ALWAYS. from past experiences of not prompting God and making my own decision, everything went wrong and eventually failed. For if God assures and confirm, His will, i am sure that it will not only succeed, but even to a greater extent. It need not has to be voices coming down from heaven telling u YES OR NO. But reading bible brings forth revelations which contain the answers.”
I really hope if you are on the verge on making an important decision, do it asap. Do not procrastinate and keep running away from your problem. If you need to make that decision, do it. I know it’s not simple, but you just have to step out of your comfort zone.
Imagine you are standing inside a circle. Outside the circle are things you cannot control (which represent your problems, obligation or someone… etc.) But the good thing is that you have control for things inside the circle, which represents you. When you have decided to make that right decision, you are going to influence the things, problems and people outside the circle to turn better. There are certain things in life that comes and go –everything happens for a reason, a cause. Why did God want to place someone or something in your life that He is going to remove? They are for a higher purpose in God - to grow stronger as a person.
Therefore, it is really important for you to make certain decision quick. Procrastinating does not do any good. Sometimes it might even be hurtful for some people around you.
fop was great. went for both fri and sat's svc. lots of people for both nights. much anticipation! really had a great time prasing and worshiping God. couldnt wait for next year's fop. after fop on friday, we walked to geylang from singapore indoor and had beef hor fun for supper! saturday we also went to the same area, only difference is we ate across the street (vinegar pig dunno wat la.)
holiday's coming soon!!! sad thing is after holiday, we gonna change class... new semester, new class? "RP unique system." wat the heck sia. gonna miss E35L. and i am going to have a meaningful holiday!
